Types of Repotters

Repotting: 10 Steps for Redesigning Your Life has valuable information and advice for women going through any major life transition. Here are some categories of “repotters”, people who typically benefit from the repotting process.

On the Verge Repotter: Some women are in a quandary. They have a feeling that things are not quite right, but they don’t have the tools to create a new landscape plan.

Change Point Repotter: For these women, an event in their lives has motivated them to change their life circumstances. Change points may include having children, getting fired, getting divorced, contracting an illness, inheriting some money, or reaching a milestone.

Core Repotter: The main goal for these repotters is finding their authentic selves. Women may strip away years of activities that clutter their landscape in order to get back in touch with the essence of who they are or want to be. It may mean going to back to a passion of their youth or uncovering an interest not embraced.

Values Repotter: These women are reassessing their lives in the context of changing priorities and values. Family concerns may supplant career goals as the primary focus; financial constraints may come to the fore in place of lifestyle preferences, or health issues may take preference.

Serial Repotter: For these women, their life landscape is constantly evolving and changing as new opportunities present themselves. Their fearless outlook has allowed them to envision and pursue multiple selves.

Do you fit into one of these categories? Are you a unique repotter? Have you changed your life by repotting? Share your story!
